Kiddush Sponsoring at Chevra Thilim

Congregation Chevra Thilim offers you the opportunity to sponsor a Kiddush luncheon following Saturday monring services. It has become a tradition to sponsor a Kiddush luncheon in honor of a simcha or special celebration. Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Aufrufs and Weddings, Baby Naming Ceremonies, Brit Milah, Anniversaries, and Birthdays are all wonderful occasions to share with the congregation. Here are just a few reason why you might want to sponsor a Kiddush at Chevra Thilim

1. It's your anniversary, your parent's anniversary, your kid's anniversary, your birthday, your spouse's birthday, your parent's birthday, your kid's birthday, your pet's birthday.

2. You just bought a new house, a new business, a new car, a new washing machine, a new aquarium.

3. You or your children or your parents are graduating from Kindergarten, Elementary School, Junior High, Middle School, High School, College, Rabbinical School, Cantorial School or School of Hard Knocks.

4. In honor of a baby naming, bar or bat mitzvah, bris, pidyon haben, yarhzeit, wedding, auf-ruf.

5. If none of the above work for you, then sponsor JUST BECAUSE!

Kiddush costs are calculated on our base of 60 people. Please add $5 per person over 60 people.

Kiddush – Basic $180.00

Cakes, wine, soda, coleslaw, salsa and chips, fruit, vegetarian cholent, crackers, vegetables and dip, choose two salads from the following: egg salad, tuna salad, gefilte fish, paper goods, cutlery, coffee & tea.

Kiddush Upgraded $225

Cakes, wine, soda, coleslaw, salsa and chips, fruit, vegetarian cholent, crackers, vegetables and dip, choose three salads from the following: egg salad, tuna salad, gefilte fish, pasta salad, babaganoush, chumus, paper goods, cutlery, coffee & tea

Kiddush Fancy $300

Cakes, wine, soda, coleslaw, salsa and chips, green salad, fruit, vegetarian cholent, crackers, vegetables and dip, choose four items from the following: egg salad, tuna salad, gefilte fish, pasta salad, babaganoush, chumus, broccoli kugel, Jerusalem kugel. Paper goods, cutlery, coffee & tea

Special Meat or Fish Kiddush $500

Meat: Cakes, brownies, wine, soda, coleslaw, salsa and chips, green salad, cold cuts, rye bread, olives and pickles, ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise, fruit, vegetarian cholent, crackers, vegetables and dip, choose five items from the following: egg salad, tuna salad, gefilte fish, pasta salad, babaganoush, chumus, broccoli kugel, Jerusalem kugel. Paper goods, cutlery, coffee & tea

Dairy: wine, cakes, brownies, soda, coleslaw, salsa and chips, green salad, lox, bagels, cream cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, capers, egg salad, vegetarian cholent, fruit, babaganoush, chumus, pasta salad, broccoli kugel, Israeli salad, olives. Paper goods, cutlery, coffee & tea.
